I found couple of places that sells Webril handi-pads that Mike uses.
But I think one place in Canada only sell by a box which includes 20 of those little paper bags. (100 sheets each in a paper bag).
If many of you are interested, I'll get the box ,so we can all have it soon and be as cool as Mike. -Anthony C

One of my students a couple of years ago also found the place that sells Webrils by the box, but I don't think there was enough interest to warrent the purchase at that time. Hopefully, this year you'll get enough people interested.
In all honesty, they are worth it - the bag that I have is only my second one, and I openned it last year (my first bag lasted me while I was in Detroit AND through two terms of teaching). So it's obvious that they last a long time. Besides, there's nothing else that will give you the same kind of results when putting down pastels, so you'll get a lot less frustrated as you're trying to learn the technique and you'll be happier with the results.
Anthony, if you don't mind doing the the leg-work find out how much each bag will cost and post it here. If not, send me a quick email and I'll try to do it myself.
Thanks.
Mike
P.S. Be as cool as Mike?!? What's THAT supposed to mean!?!

I found out how much.
It's $125 + tax + shipping for a box of 20. He didn't give me the exact shipping price ($8~9?), but It will be around $7.65 each including shipping. I am gonna take 3 if we get a box of 20.
so, if you guys are interested. Sign up here please.

Hey Guys
This summer I bought Webril Handi-pads at Loomis art store in Oakville. If you call or stop by get them to check their inventory on the computer, because no one knows what they are. If they don't have them and another location does they will ship them to another Loomis if its closer to where you live.
Dont give up.....It took me almost a year to find them. But they are out there.

That's where I got the packs I have now! Loomis' Oakville location is a great store, and I would highly encourage that you to visit it. If any of you want to head out to it, the location is: 2501 Hyde Park Gate Oakville, Ontario L6H 6G6 Tel: (905) 829 9181 or Toll Free: 1 800 567-5364 I paid $14.65 per bag, and each bag has 100 pads. I found them in the picture framing area, but ask someone if you can't find them there. And if it helps, the Loomis inventory SKU# on the bags that I have is MML-4. Mike
