TITLE: Photoshop and marker paper full colour renderings MEDIA: Adobe Photoshop CS2 for digital rendering; Borden & Riley marker pad, Charpak AD markers, Prismacolor Verithin hard lead coloured pencils, Prismacolor soft lead coloured pencils, and Prismacolor Nupastels for hand rendering; newsprint paper, black Prismacolor Verithin hard lead colour pencils, and black Prsmacolor soft lead coloured pencils for line drawing. NOTES: A side view drawing used to demonstrate the principles and techniques taught throughout the course, but using Adobe Photoshop software to create the final rendering. Then, comparing the Photoshop rendering to a hand-rendered version, which was competed prior to seeing the completed digital rendering. Photoshop rendering conducted by Mr. Emre Husmen; hand-drawn rendering conducted by yours truly, Michael Nicola. I don't think I could ever thank Emre enough for conducting this Photoshop demo for us. I know for a fact that I learned more during this demo than I could have ever learned on my own. And judging by the overwhelmingly positive feedback - and not one but two rounds of applause from those in attendance - I'm absolutely certain that everyone else walked away from that demo with a new found respect for not only Photoshop, but also Emre Husmen's skills. Thank you very much Emre, for a truly increadible experience!!! Original SketchPhotoshop RenderingsHand Rendering P.S. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank Sean Cardiff for lending us his Gateway laptop for this demonstration. Thanks Sean!
