TITLE: Ideation sketches with improved line quality MEDIA: Newsprint paper, Prismacolor Verithin hard lead coloured pencils, Prismacolor soft lead coloured pencils, sweeps and elipse templates (second drawing only) NOTES: A couple of sketches intended to illustrate how the use of various line weights can be used to improve rough ideation sketches to help them "pop" off the page. The first sketch was done entirely free-hand; the second was done using elipse templates and sweeps. Special thanks go out to Sebastian Tymoczko (Seb) and Philippe Savignac (Savi) for letting me use their ideation sketches as underlays for these demos.

That first one is Mike’s version of a VW meets a Honda. Germans and Japanese can get a long in a happy world....
